Project Lead the Way is a series of classes developed by American engineers and engineering schools to introduce high school students to engineering.  The program focuses on designing, problem solving, drawing/drafting and developing your visual skills.

Some of the program’s highlights include:

· Learning to use Autodesk Inventor — a professional 2-d/3-d design program used by engineers in the field.

· Develop your precision measuring, blueprint reading, and visualization skills.

· Designing and constructing a cardboard chair and a puzzle cube.

· Reverse engineering a race car.

· Researching, planning, designing, and presenting an enhancement/improvement to an existing product.

· Design a desktop organizer, baseball cap, floor plan, and packaging for a product
