We are asking all students to supply their own calculators for math classes in grades 6-8. The calculator should have all the basic functions plus fractions, exponents, scientific notation and trigonometric functions. We recommend the Texas Instruments
TI–34 or a calculator comparable to it for grades six, seven, and eight. It sells for around $20.
Students in Accelerated Math will need to have a TI-83. These calculators will be used throughout all the high school math classes. It sells for around $99 at discount and office supply stores.
Please be sure your child places his/her name prominently
and indelibly on the calculator with brightly colored ink/paint (NOT THE COVER),
when she/he brings it to school.
Phy. Ed.
A uniform must be purchased from the Phy. Ed. Department if you do not own one.
A Highview uniform is required.
Donations
for students in need will be collected when students pick-up their
schedules. Thank you.
