SALES, ADVERTISING… it’s everywhere!! How does the media contribute to what we buy?? Learn how companies target teenagers and adults through multi-media presentations, ads, and commercials. This course will walk students through the steps of a sale while incorporating practical applications of sales such as job interviews and retail customer service. Students will experience and create different advertising media; including print media, billboards, flyers, web ads, specialty promotions, and giveaways. Students will learn how advertising influences public and private sectors as well as overall profit and loss for new and existing companies. In this course students have the opportunity to compete and participate in activities through the co-curricular program, DECA- An Association of Marketing Students.
