This site is designed to be used by Mounds View Accelerated Chemistry students. It should form an essential part of your course studies.

Accelerated Chemistry at Mounds View is a rigorous course that is designed to meet the needs of students with an interest in either science, engineering or medicine. This course will prepare students for college level chemistry, and has several advanced topics that go beyond this basic level of preparation. As chemistry is a laboratory based science, laboratory skills are closely monitored and evaluated. However, this course is not an A.P. course. Advanced Placement Chemistry is a two year course, and continual feedback from Mounds View alumni strongly supports the view that such a course can prove detrimental in the long-term interests of science students.
