2004-05 Final budget

2004-05
Thanks to the voter-approved levy in fall 2003, the School Board adopted a balanced budget for 2004-2005, without making many of the drastic reductions other school districts have experienced this year.

This balanced budget includes lower class sizes and fees, a continued comprehensive curriculum, and it keeps all school buildings open for K-12 instruction for the 2004-2005 school year. In response to declining enrollment, Mounds View reduced its certified teaching staff by 24 positions – the fewest in recent years. Many of these employees were hired back by the time school started in the fall.
