The Nutrition Service Department is using the Mounds View Messenging system to call parents when a students lunch account balance is $-2.00. Please remember to replenish your students account.

If your student is changing school buildings next school year the balance will follow them to their new school.

A la carte prices for Elementary Schools:
· Extra Entree = $1.85

· Extra potato = $1.25

· Extra bread = $0.50

· Extra Milk = $0.40

· Extra Dessert = $0.50

· A la carte fruit or vegetable = $0.50

· 4oz Yogurt = $0.60

· Slice Pizza = $1.50

· Cereal = $0.75

Mounds View School District formed a task force in May 2004 to develop guidelines to improve the nutritional value of our school lunch program. These guidelines come in response to our district¡¯s commitment to helping tackle childhood obesity health problems. Currently all of our schools meet these guilelines in our school lunch program.
