Orchestra Disney Concert Benefits Turtle Lake Student

This year’s holiday orchestra concert turned into a benefit concert to help with the recovery efforts of former Turtle Lake student, Amy Cao, as she battles a malignant brain tumor.  The concert, lead by orchestra director, Sandy Collins, raised $1,401.73 on Amy’s behalf.

Gibbs Farm Visits Turtle Lake

On Tuesday, December 4th, Gibbs Farm visited Turtle Lake second graders.  Students learned about spinning wool, candle-making, and doll-making.

Turtle Lake Fifth Graders Perform First Band Concert

As a Turtle Lake fifth grader, you get the chance to participate in the school band.  On Tuesday, December 16th the fifth grade band made their performance debut to the students of Turtle Lake.  They performed a variety of large group pieces as well as a few ensemble pieces.  The picture above features the trumpet section.

Staff Welcome Students with Holiday Music

Turtle Lake teachers and staff banded together on the mornings of December 18th and 19th to welcome the students into the school with a variety of holiday music.
