Turtle Lake Choir Sings National Anthem at the Twins Game!On Thursday, September 25th, Turtle Lake’s 4th & 5th grade choirs sang the National Anthem at the Minnesota Twins Game vs. the Chicago White Sox. The 90+ students did a fantastic job! |

Turtle Lake Welcomes author/illustrator, Rick Chrustowski and the Bat Lady!On Monday, September 22nd, students and their families gather for a special event with author/illustrator Rick Chrustowski and Stephanie Reynolds, aka “the bat lady.” Rick read aloud from his book Big Brown Bat and conducted a “Draw A Bat” exercise. Stephanie shared information about bats in Minnesota and around the world.

Fifth Graders Create Outdoor SculpturesDuring the month of September fifth graders created outdoor sculptures a la artist Andy Goldsworthy during their art class. They then documented their experiences in Information Literacy class. |
