A variety of activities, camps and clinics are geared to engage students and provide an environment where students can learn, play and explore.

    NEW Summer Camp Format

    A new summer camp format is launching in 2019 to include full-day and half-day options for students entering grades K-6. With new instructors, new topics and one centralized camp site, students will be able to try new things, meet new people and grow. The new Lunch Bunch program offers families the option of selecting morning and afternoon activities that extend a full day. Extended drop-off and pick-up times and Friday field trips are also a new addition to summer Community Education offerings. All camps  brochure pages 4-12 will be held at Chippewa Middle School.

    Drop-off               8 - 9 a.m.
    Morning camp      9 a.m. - noon
    Lunch Bunch        noon - 1 p.m. (extra $10 per week)
    Afternoon camp  1 - 4 p.m.
    Pick-up                4 - 5 p.m.

    Morning and Afternoon Care

    Reduce some summer stress with our new extended morning drop-off hour and afternoon pick-up hour included in your summer camp registration! Campers can be dropped off as early as 8 a.m. and picked up as late as 5 p.m. giving families a little more flexibility in their day.

    Lunch Bunch

    Create a full day of fun with the new Lunch Bunch program. For families looking for full-day options, the Lunch Bunch program is a perfect way to connect morning and afternoon camps. Lunch Bunch provides a supervised lunch hour but does require students to bring their own lunch. Registration is in addition to camp registration, and the cost is $10 per week.

    NEW Field Trip Fridays

    Experience high-quality supervision and a new field trip destination every Friday with our new Field Trip Fridays for students entering grades K-8! Field trips range between $55 to $65 per field trip and require students to bring a bag lunch. Drop-off is at Chippewa Middle School from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with pick-up from 4:30-5 p.m.

    Sports Clinics & Camps

    In addition to Community Education camps, coaches at both Irondale High School and Mounds View High School have a wide variety of sports camps and clinics that will be happening throughout the District. More information about these programs can be found in the catalog on pages 18-23.
