Family activities

  • Mounds View Community Education is working to expand our family programming to meet the needs of our community.

    Family activities include Music at Mounds View concerts, Family activity nights, open gym, family ski nights, and more. Activities fill up fast, sign up early to ensure your families space!

    Family Swim

    Family swim is a great way for children and their families to spend the afternoon at one of our district pools!  Registration must include at least one child under the age of 18 and one adult over the age of 18.

    Pre-registration fee: $2 per person or $10 for a Family of 5+
    At-the-door registration fee: $3 per person or $15 for a family of 5+

    Family Open Gym

    Families are invited to enjoy some indoor running and physical time during our family open gym time. Parents are invited to spend one Saturday morning per month with their children, enjoying activities appropriate for children ages 2 through 5th grade. Staff will have play equipment ready during these open gym times.

    Movie Nights

    Join us for Family Movie & Popcorn Night at Chippewa Middle School Auditorium! Each family member will receive a personal bag of popcorn upon entry.  Additional concessions including soda, juice, candy and more will be available for purchase before the movie. 

    Family movie night registration must include at least one child 2-years-old or older and one adult.
