Requested items to bring with you:
- Identification and mail with current address (or other proof of address) for every adult in your household.
- Identification for each child on the first visit only (examples include birth certificates, medical id cards, report cards, etc).
What to expect:
Food shelf clients will meet with a food shelf staff member on their first visit and will be asked to fill out basic household information regarding income and assistance. Food will be received the same day. Clients are eligible to use the food shelf once a month or more often if approved by a food shelf staff member. Each houshold will choose their own groceries and will receive approximately 7 days worth of nutritionally balanced food items (including meats and milk), fresh produce and deli items, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies, along with additional resources, and referrals to other low income programs and services.
