Woodworking for Wildlife

Class Description:
Woodworking for Wildlife teaches students about general wildlife habitat and encourages students to create wildlife habitat in their own backyard. Each student constructs a birdhouse to bring home that provides valuable shelter for birds.
Learner Objectives:
- Students list the four components of wildlife habitat.
- Students participate in one action that can held create beneficial habitat for songbirds by constructing a bird house.
- Student explain why a bird house is important in developed areas.
