HIGHVIEW SPRING MUSICALJoin the Highview Middle School cast and crew as they present “The Music Man Jr. “ on Thursday and Friday, March 3rdand 4th at 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 5th at 2:00 PM.Adult tickets will be $6.00; tickets for children/students will be $4.00. Tickets will be sold during lunches the week of theperformance and will also be available at the door. Pre-sale tickets are now on sale for members of the cast and crew.Parents of cast and crew members-- letters regarding pre-sale tickets should come home this week. Tickets will also beavailable in the school office beginning Monday, February 22ndCome early and buy a cast or crew member a star for $1.00 and write a personal message to your special student. Starswill be delivered backstage before the performance.There will be no reserved seating and seats fill fast, so please plan accordingly.We hope to see you there!!

For many students in theMounds View School District, their trip to the Laurentian Environmental Center (LEC) was a highlight of their middleschool years. We are very excited to announce an opportunity for our current 6th grade students to participate in theLaurentian trip in the fall of 2016. Students will spend 3 days and 2 nights of educational and team-building activities inthe north woods of Minnesota.Trip 1: Monday, October 24th through Wednesday October 26thTrip 2: Wednesday, October 26th through Friday, October 28thLEC is a public residential educational facility that combines environmental education, leadership training and outdoorskills recreation programs. IRONDALE GIRLS LACROSSE TRYOUTSAny 7th or 8th grade girls interested in trying out for the Irondale High School Girls LaCrosse Team should attend practicesin the Irondale Gym from 6:30-8:00 PM on these dates: 2/10, 2/15, 2/22, 3/2, 3/8, 3/16, 3/21 and 3/23.Seniors will be on hand to help girls who have no experience (or even equipment).
