    Budget amendments 

    Budget amendments are necessary as additional information becomes known. The Board approved final budget amendments for fiscal year 2015-2016. To see a complete summary of the approved amendments visit the District's Budget & Finance page at www.moundsviewschools.org.

    2016-2017 budget approved

    The Board adopted the 2016-2017 budget as presented by Carole Nielsen, director of finance. The fiscal year 2016-2017 budget was developed based on the assumptions provided by the School Board through several Board meetings and work sessions over the past six months. The proposed budgets represent the financial projections for the District for the general fund, nutrition services fund, community services fund, construction fund and debt service funds.     District Operational Plan

    As part of the Superintendent's end-of-year report to the Board, a review of the 2015-2016 District Operational Plan was presented. To see the presentation which focuses on priority goals, please click here.   
     

    Superintendent's evaluation

    Board member Marre Jo Sager read a summary of Superintendent Dan Hoverman’s appraisal for the 2015-2016 school year. The summary stated, “One of the hallmarks of Superintendent Hoverman’s tenure has been his unwillingness to rest on the District’s laurels and past accomplishments. He is and has always been a tireless advocate for innovation when innovation is necessary, and enhancement when the programs in place need refreshing.” To read the entire report, click here.

    Superintendent named Emeritus

    At a March School Board meeting, Dan Hoverman announced his plans to retire at the end of the 2015-16 school year, after 41 years at Mounds View and nine years as Superintendent. To express its gratitude for his impact on the school community, on June 28 the School Board adopted a resolution conferring upon Hoverman the permanent title of Superintendent Emeritus.
