    ·     Audition videos must be submitted to Ms. Olinger via email, Google Drive, YouTube, or CD by Tuesday, May 17th.

    ·         Audition videos can be recorded after school with Ms. Olinger on Wednesday, May 11th or Monday, May 16th.

    ·         All acts are welcome, but must be school appropriate.

     

    If you have any questions, please talk to Ms. Olinger in Room 109.  Can’t wait!!

     

     

    ATTENTION CURRENT 8TH GRADE STUDENTS

    Irondale High School - Spring into Fall

    You’re invited…  All incoming 9th grade students and parents who will attend Irondale High School in the Fall of 2016.

     

    Come to the IDHS Lower Gym Thursday, May 19th from 6:30 to 8 pm to learn more about important summer and fall dates, finding the right balance, and gain a better understanding of the clubs, sports and activities that are available to 9th grade students.  Incoming 9th grade students and their families will hear from a panel of current and former Irondale students about their experiences as Knights, receive an Irondale T-Shirt, and have a chance to meet their new dean in a small group Q&A presentation focused on making a successful transition to Irondale

    Come to the Mounds View High School Auditorium from 6:30 to 8 pm to learn more about what clubs, sports and activities are available.  Many coaches and advisors will be on hand to answer questions.  A panel of current and former MVHS students will be on hand to share their experiences as Mustangs.  Many of these activities start August 15th

    The Highview Scholastic BOGO Bookfair is coming in May! It is a buy one--get one free sale with a great selection of current books!  The fair will run three days only...May 10, 11, and 12 from 7:15-3:00 PM.     HAT DAY COMING TO HIGHVIEW

    Support H2O for Life by paying $1.00 to wear a hat on Friday, May 20th.  It’s the same day as the party!  Wear a school-appropriate hat and support a great cause!

     

    BEL AIR CARNIVAL NEEDS YOU!

    The Bel Air Carnival is looking for volunteers for their carnival on Friday, May 20th.  Shifts are from 5:20-6:50 PM or from 6:45-8:15 PM.  They welcome adults, as well as middle school students to work at the carnival.

    IRONDALE KNIGHTS VARSITY BASEBALL YOUTH DAY

    Mark your calendars for Irondale Knights Varsity Baseball Youth Day on Saturday, April 30th at 1:00 PM

    at Irondale High School Varsity Field.  Help cheer us to a victory against Maple Grove.  We will have games and prizes along with concessions to enjoy. Hope to see you there!  GO KNIGHTS!

    The end of the school year is coming, so it's time for the NE Regional Open 6-12 Chess Tournament! 

    Join us on Saturday, April 23rd from 9 AM-3:00 PM at Turtle Lake Elementary in Shoreview. 

    This is an "open tournament". Test your skills against club and independent players!

    CONGRATULATIONS IRONDALE DRUMLINE

    The Irondale drumline finished 7th place out of 59 groups in their class at the Drumline National Championships this past week in Dayton, Ohio.  The 36 member group advanced twice during the competition, placing 3rd and 6th respectively in their first two performances.  In their finals performance the drumline scored a season high 92.65, only .6 out of 4th place.  2016 marks the 3rd time in Irondale's history that the drumline placed in the top 10 in the country, having placed 3rd in 2003 and 9th in 2012.  The 2016 drumline's show entitled "A Love of Thousands" was popular among both fans and judges all season long.

     

    JOIN THE IRONDALE MARCHING KNIGHTS

    Be part of the nationally known Irondale Marching Knights!  The marching band is open to any and all current 8th graders through juniors across the school district.  One doesn't need to be a current band student to find a role within the program.  Join us for Information Night at Irondale High School Monday, April 25 at 7:00 PM.  The first practice is Saturday, April 30 from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.  We look forward to seeing you there!

     

    COMMNITY EDUCATION SUMMER CAMPS
