Take part in the Highview Summer Reading Challenge!  Participants will be asked to choose 8 books to read over the summer.  From these 8 books, students will choose books to compete against each other and enter them into a bracket.  As the books are read, they will get rated by the reader with one book being selected as their favorite read of the summer.

Bracket sheets should be turned into Ms. Woehrle in the fall.  Participants will be entered in a drawing to win free books!!

Information and bracket sheets will be handed out in ELA classes.  For additional copies of the bracket sheet, visit here

If you have any questions, please see Ms. Woehrle in the Media Center.

If your child has medication in the Highview Health Office, please stop by and pick it up before the end of the school year.  Medications not picked up by the end of the school year will be destroyed. If you have questions, please contact Keri Rudnick in the Health Office: 651-621-6704

Swing dancing is the newest thing to do!  Do you want to learn how?  Mrs. Halvorsen, the Drama Director at Highview and Jessica LaKosky, our Choreographer, will show you how.

There will be a swing Dance Demonstration after school on Tuesday, May 31 in Highview Cafeteria.  You don’t have to know how to dance.  You can just watch, but if you want to learn—they will help you.

We will also look at the musical production being considered for Highview next year, “Hairspray”.  We will hear about the story and the characters.  It’s a big dance show.

Members of the drama program are encouraged to join us and share their experiences while working and performing in our musicals.

Registration is now open for Community Education Summer Camps.  We offer a wide variety of camps and classes in art, music, theater, STEAM and athletics.    Click here to view brochure and/or register for camps
