On Tuesday, October 25, the sixth grade class will be attending the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. While there, students will act as "history detectives" as they explore museum exhibits. Students will also have an opportunity to participate in an interactive history lesson. The field trip complements standards in the 6th grade Social Studies curriculum. It is our expectation that all students will participate in this extension of the regular curriculum. Please contact your child's dean, if you have any questions regarding this expectation. The cost of this field trip has been covered by Edgewood* as part of the District's Equity Promise. Students will need to bring either a bag lunch from home or purchase one from the cafeteria. Students will leave Edgewood between 9-9:15 a.m. and return by 2:45 p.m. for dismissal. Permission forms should be turned in to Ms. Mildenberger in the front office ASAP. A copy of the permission form can be found here.
