Highview is looking for 8th grade parent volunteers to help chaperone the 8th grade field trip to the Science Museum of Minnesota on Thursday, January 19th from 9 AM to 2:30 PM.  Parents would accompany a small group of students throughout the museum.  8th graders will also be visiting the current exhibit called RACE: Are We So Different.  Check it out at https://www.smm.org/race.

If you can volunteer, please email Ross Lindquist at Ross.Lindquist@moundsviewschools.org

The EL department is looking for parent/community adult volunteers who are able to help tutor/assist Highview newcomer students with English as their second language during day.

Any amount of time (1 period or more) would be so appreciated!  Last year, we had two parents (moms) who helped us out the 2nd semester and it was incredibly helpful.
