Bel Air Title One Funding is used to provide support to students requiring extra support in reading.
In keeping with the Mounds View Schools equity promise, Bel Air elementary school is committed to meeting the needs of all learners. Classroom teachers identify individual student strengths and needs, and then meet with small groups within their core literacy instruction to provide instruction based on need. Classroom and intervention teachers collaborate to ensure that students requiring additional acceleration receive intervention in small groups or one-on-one to target student needs. Ongoing communication about student growth allows classroom and intervention teachers to monitor student progress and make informed instructional decisions.
