Title I Funds at Valentine Hills Elementary

Title One provides funding to support readers who need additional literacy support. Valentine Hills Elementary works hard to ensure academic growth for all of our students. Teachers work together to make instructional decisions that best fit the individual needs of each student. If a child demonstrates a need for additional literacy support, he/she receives an additional small group with a reading intervention teacher during their school day. The classroom teacher and the intervention teacher work collaboratively to support their students at their instructional level and closely monitor their students' progress along the way.
