    Yearbooks Go On Sale January 30

    Yearbook sales begin on Monday, January 30.  Order forms will be sent home with your student(s) on Monday. (Order Form) You can also order online at: YBPAY.LIFETOUCH.COM, Yearbook ID Code is: 1502317.  Order deadline is March 3.  


    Community Activities and Program Offerings

    In addition to the youth programs and enrichment opportunities available through the District's community education department, a number of activities, camps and youth programs are hosted by area cities, local businesses, community organizations and school PTA groups.  Please visit the Bel Air website (click on “Parent Resources” and then “E-Flyers”) for courses



    ROBOTICS @ Shoreview Library Re-Opening Ceremonies

    The MVHS Robotics Team will be part of the Grand Opening activities at the new Shoreview Library from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, January 28, 2017. FIRST Robotics has programs for kids from K-12, and we've invited teams from each level to show their stuff. Please come and see us, along with Irondale's KnightKrawlers, FIRST Tech Challenge teams Height Differential and Ponytail Posse, FIRST LEGO League Teams The Dots and The WYLDE from Chippewa, and the LEGO Shark Phins, an FLL Jr. team attending Turtle Lake Elementary. 

    The opening ceremony is at 10 am, with children's crafts all day, the architect's design presentation at 11:30MVHS Orchestra at 12:30, ice sculpture demo 12-1:30, a comedy show at 2, and caricature sketches 1:30-4:30, along with tours and other activities. We hope you can join us!


    Frequently Asked Special Education Questions - February 2, 2017  

    6:45 - 8:15 p.m. at Snail Lake Education Center 

    In response to the October, 2016 Special Education Parents Survey and the first Special Education Parent and Professional Advisory Council (SEPPAC) meeting attendees, SEPPAC will hold an informational meeting covering frequently asked special education questions. These frequently asked questions will include transition, educational evaluations, IEPs, communication, modifications including para support, extra curricular activities, etc.

    Building Security Procedures

    A visitor screening system helps track visitors and volunteers at each school, providing a safe and monitored environment for students and staff. When parents come to pickup their child(ren), or visitors check in, they will be asked to present a valid state issued ID for entering into the system.
