We are very proud of them as they spent two months doing the work that all the other teams had nine months to prepare. Special thanks to Ms. Nadina Beethe, the team's mentor, as well as members of Irondale's KnightKrawler Robotics for mentoring and helping the team with coding, etc.The team finished 6th of 31 teams in programming and individual skills and 22nd of 31 teams for team challenge. 7th, 8th, and Jazz Band students will be going on a band tour to Pinewood and Sunnyside Elementary Schools on Thursday, February 23. Students will be responsible for bringing their instrument, folders, and music. Percussionists will need to bring everything they use and should come to the Band Room immediately before school to begin loading gear. Students are responsible for bringing their own money for lunch or a bag lunch. Students must have written permission to attend this activity. Please sign the permission form and return it to Mr. Johnson by Wednesday, February 22. If you would like to chaperone, please include your contact information on the form. Theme of the Camp: The theme for the Spanish village weekend this year is El Camino Andino. Concordia will be focusing the program on the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
Cost: $320 includes roundtrip transportation, lodging, meals and all programming.

Any school supplies and spirit wear are sold on behalf of EPAT. All funds are directed back to Edgewood for use by staff.

Food Taste Testing: Earn some extra $$CASH$$ and sample some really great food. All you have to do is log on and register at www.fpitesters.com.
Box Tops: Please save all of your box tops and turn them in at Edgewood. There is a drop box in the front office of the school. This is just another way to earn money for our kids. Please be sure Box Tops are not expired as they will not accept.
