    New Sports are right around the corner.  Swimming, Table Tennis, and Floor Hockey are offered for March/April.  Be sure to grab a paper registration from the Greeters Desk or register online at the Community Education website.



    Newspaper Club is composed of 38 wonderful students who have a passion to write.  The program is student led and student fed; students are doing the writing and students are editing the writing.  The articles in ChippeWatch are spread amongst a variety of different writing styles and interests.  Our main goal for Newspaper Club is to give students a place to write and a place to share their writing.  Please enjoy our published newspaper here.



    The Viewettes Dance Team will compete for a bid to the State Tournament this Saturday, February 11, at Bloomington Kennedy High School.  The High Kick competition will begin at 10:00 am and the Jazz competition at 12:15 pm.  Tickets go on sale at 9:00 am and doors will open at 9:15 am.  Good Luck Viewettes!!!



    Mounds View High School is hosting an Information Night in the Commons and Auditorium on Thursday, February 16.  Eighth grade students, parents, and non-public school families are invited to learn more about Mounds View Public Schools. Families with Last Names A-L are to attend from 5:30 - 7:00 PM and families with Last Names M-Z  are to attend from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.  If families have conflicts, they may attend either session.  Both sessions will highlight the transition of middle school to high school, and touch upon Mounds View's comprehensive Early College programming.


    In addition to this information night, Associate Principal Stephanie Bruggers will host an Early College Question and Answer session at Mounds View High School on Tuesday, February 21, at 7PM.

    The MVHS Girls Golf Booster Club will be holding a meeting on Thursday, February 23, at 7:00pm at the White Bear Caribou on Hwy. 96 and 35E.  We will have the Caribou meeting room reserved for this event.  We welcome any returning families, as well as any new families, to the Girls Golf Program (grades 7-12).  Please bring your ideas, questions, suggestions, and positive energy for warm weather and green grass!  Please contact Lisa Ganske with any questions (612-816-5120).



    KnightKrawler Robotics, FRC Team 2052, invites you to attend their annual Sponsors, Family, and Friends Night on Friday, February 24, beginning at 7:00 pm at the Irondale High School Auditorium, 2425 Long Lake Road, New Brighton.  Come meet the team, learn this year's game, and view our 2017 robot as we prepare to get ready for this year's game challenge FIRST Steamworks.  We hope you can join us!

    The talented Marching Knights will perform their new shows: "Forever" (Drumline) and “Please Hold” (Colorguard).  Ticket prices are $8 for seniors/students and $10 for adults and will get you into both competitions.

    First semester grades have been posted!  You can find them by visiting ParentVUE and looking at the report card tab for your student.  Any questions regarding the report card can be directed to your student's dean.

    What:  Spanish  Immersion weekend in Bemidji, MN

    When:  May 11-14th (Thursday- Sunday)

    Theme of the Camp: The theme for the Spanish village weekend this year is  El Camino

    Andino.  Concordia  will be focusing the program on the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.

    Cost:  $320 includes roundtrip transportation, lodging, meals, and all programming.

    Registration:  Opens Thursday, February 9, at 6am on the Community Ed website!!!  Register early to get a spot.
