    REPORT CARDS

    Second quarter report cards will not be mailed out, however; parents and students will be able to view them via Student VUE and Parent VUE on Friday, February 10th. 

    If you have not already signed up for Parent VUE and would like to, please contact Cindy Palmer in our school office at 651-621-6700. 

    If you would like a paper copy of your student’s report card, please contact Karen Porath at 651-621-6725 or Karen.porath@moundsviewschools.org or your student’s dean.

     

    COMMUNITY EDUCATION UPDATE

    Registration is still open for Co-Ed Fitness Training, Badminton, Floor Hockey and Swimming.  Register online at  https://www.moundsviewschools.org/domain/77 or get forms in the school office.  Contact Sam Carew at sam.carew@moundsviewschools.org  or at 651-621-6720 with any questions.

     

    HIGHVIEW SPRING MUSICAL

    Join the Highview Middle School cast and crew as they present “Beauty and the Beast Jr. “ on Thursday and Friday, March 2nd and 3rd at 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 4th at 2:00 PM. 

     

    Tickets will be sold during lunches the week of the performance and will also be available at the door for $5.00 each.   Pre-sale tickets will go on sale soon for members of the cast and crew.  Parents of cast and crew members-- letters regarding pre-sale tickets should come home late next week.  Tickets will also be available in the school office closer to the performance date.

    Come early and buy a cast or crew member a star for $1.00 and write a personal message to your special student.  Stars will be delivered backstage before the performance. 

    There will be no reserved seating and seats fill fast, so please plan accordingly.   

    We hope to see you there!!

     

    7TH GRADE PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

    On Friday, March 10th from 1:00-2:30 the 7th graders will be showcasing their Infectious Disease projects.  We are looking for parent volunteers to help evaluate projects and provide feedback to students about their infectious disease product.  Please follow the Sign Up Genius link below to register.  We are hoping to get at least 20 volunteers.  If you have questions, please contact your child's Science teacher, or Vickie Woehrle at vickie.woehrle@moundsviewschools.org.

    WINTER MUSIC OF THE KNIGHT

    Are you looking for high quality, family friendly entertainment?

    Look no further than the Irondale High School Marching Knights Winter Music of the Knight

    Who: Multiple groups from Minnesota and Wisconsin

    What: Drumline and Colorguard Show

    When: Saturday, February 18.  Drumline 1pm, Colorguard 6:30pm.

    Where: Irondale High School Varsity Gym


    The talented Marching Knights will perform their new shows: "Forever" (Drumline) and “Please Hold” (Colorguard).  Ticket prices are $8 for seniors/students and $10 for adults and will get you into both competitions.

     

    HELP SUPPORT THE IRONDALE MARCHING KNIGHTS

    On Thursday's during the month of February, Moe's Restaurant and Bar (2400 Hwy 10; Mounds View) will donate 20% of the meal portion of your bill to the Irondale Marching Knights Band program.  When checking out, remember to mention Irondale Bands.  Thank you for your patronage to Moe's and for your support of the Irondale Marching Knights Band Program!

     

    UPCOMING 8th GRADE TO 9TH GRADE TRANSITION EVENTS

    For those students planning to attend Mounds View High School, their Information & Registration Night for 8th Graders will be February 16, 2017 from 5:30-7:00 PM for students whose last name begins A-L and from 7:00-8:30 PM for those students with last names beginning M-Z.  This event will be at Mounds View High School.  Again, Highview Middle School Deans will be on hand for questions and assistance.

    Highview 8th graders will visit their respective high schools on April 6, 2017 from 9:45-11:00 AM.

    Both Mounds View and Irondale High School Deans and student mentors will be at Highview Middle School for a Question and Answer Session with 8th graders on May 16, 2017 from 11:30 AM- 12:30 PM.  

    8th Grade students & families invited to learn about co-curricular opportunities at Mounds View High School Fall Co-Curriculum Day on May 17, 2017 at 6:30 PM in the Mounds View High School Commons. 

    "Spring Into Fall" Irondale High School Co-Curriculum Day will take place on May 31, 2017 at 6:30 PM at Irondale High School.  8th Grade students & families invited to learn about co-curricular opportunities at Irondale High School.

    The First Day of High School is Tuesday, September 5, 2017.  We know our Highview students will be ready.  Hawk Pride!
