    STUDENT COUNCIL SPONSORED FOOD DRIVE

Student council will be accepting non-perishable food items during lunches next week (April 3-6).  Please consider donating, as all donations benefit the Ralph Reader Food Shelf.  A donation is never too small.  Monetary donations are accepted as well.

Thursday, April 6, Chippewa will be hosting “Hats on for Hunger”.  Students can buy a wristband for a $1 and will have the opportunity to wear their school appropriate hat all day!  Wristbands will be for sale during lunches on Wednesday and before school on Thursday.  All “hat” money will be donated to the Food Shelf.

    STUDENT PLANNER COVER CONTEST

Attention all Sixth and Seventh Grade Students!  Are you an artist?  Are you creative?  Do you have some bold ideas?  We are looking for a new cover for next year's student planner!  We will be accepting entries for the cover design for the next few weeks.  If you'd like to participate, please create a design on a half sheet of paper (8 1/2 by 5 1/2) and submit it to the front office by Friday, April 21.  It should say "Chippewa Middle School" and "2017-18" somewhere on the cover.  A panel of judges will pick from the entries and the winner will be announced in May.  We are eager to see the creative and fun pieces you come up with!
