For those families who ordered school supplies online through SchoolKidz, they have reached out to inform us that they needed to make a change to our scheduled delivery date due to a backlog in their warehouse. We expected to have the kits by Orientation but they have assured us that all orders will be delivered prior to the first day of school. As we move closer to the first day of school, we’ll provide you with a more definitive time frame of delivery. We deeply apologize for this inconvenience.

PLEASE NOTE: Students do not need to purchase official phy ed attire, they can bring their own extra set of clothes from home for gym. Headphones are not to be worn (in hallways or classrooms) during the school day from 8:05 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.With the addition of more electronic devices in classrooms this year, student should no longer need to use personal devices for academic purposes. Beginning this year, students should not have devices out in classrooms during instructional time. When they enter classrooms, devices must be put away and OUT OF SIGHT.Devices used during this prohibited time will be turned over to the staff to be picked up in Student Services at the end of the school day (2:45 p.m.).Thank you for your support in this matter.Vaccination ReminderNutrition ServicesThe September menu is available now! Dates and times are as follows: Friday, August 25 - 8:30 & 9:30 a.m. or Monday, August 28 - 4:30, 5:30 & 7:30 p.m. Please try to make one of the sessions available to receive your registration materials and answer any questions you may have about the trip. The first 100 students to turn in their registration forms will get to choose if they want to attend Trip #1 from October 30-November 1 or Trip #2 from November 1-3, 2017. It's STEM Day at the Fair! Irondale's KnighKrawler Robotics will be there with "The Green Machine" from Edina and Technocats from Hopkins. Catch Robotics teams each day of the Fair at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. in the Education Building. #RobotsOnAStickMarching Band at the State Fair/MOTKIrondale's Marching Band will be in the State Fair parade on Friday, August 25. Be sure to check them out if you are there! Also, please join Marching Band for their 25th Anniversary "Music of the Knight" Premier Competition on Saturday, September 30, at 5:00 p.m. at Irondale High School. Tickets will be available at the door.Irondale HomecomingIrondale Homecoming is scheduled for Friday, October 6. Come cheer on the Knights as they face Henry Sibley High School at 7:00 p.m.Irondale BowlingWhat has 10 pins and you throw a ball? If you guessed bowling, you're correct! Irondale High School has a coed bowling team and grades 7-12 are welcome to join the team. We meet at The Mermaid on Mondays at 3:00 p.m., with the exception of Tuesday after Labor Day. Competitions are held on Fridays at 3:30 p.m. beginning in September at area Bowling Centers. The Irondale Bowling Team competes in the Minnesota State High School League. The season wraps up in mid-November, unless State tournament berth is won. State is held in early December. All partipants must provide their own transportation to and from all practices and matches.
