UPDATE TO HIGHVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL TARDY POLICY

In an effort to encourage students to arrive on time to each class ready to learn, we are making the following change to our tardy policy.  Starting this quarter, any students who have four tardies marked in their attendance records will be assigned to an after-school detention study session from 2:50pm-4:00pm.  This will repeat each time a student is marked tardy four times.  When students are assigned after-school detention due to excessive tardies, parents and guardians will be notified by an automated phone call.  Student attendance may be monitored under the Attendance tab in ParentVue.  For questions regarding a student's attendance, please call the Highview main line at 651-621-6700.
