Molly Hollihan, Principal
Molly Hollihan came to Chippewa in the role of Dean in 2014. To capitalize on her previous experience as an Assistant Principal in Mahtomedi and her skilled work as a highly effective dean of students at Highview and Chippewa, the Associate Principal position at Chippewa was created for Molly in spring of 2015. Molly served Chippewa as Associate Principal for four years. In the spring of 2019, she was named Principal.
Ms. Hollihan responsibilities include vision and oversight of Chippewa's instructional model, creation and implementation of Chippewa's "Integrated School Improvement and Innovation Plan", support, development and appraisal of Chippewa faculty, leadership of Chippewa's Instructional Leadership Team and Dean team, community outreach, fiscal management, and school to home communication.
Kathryn Bennett, Associate Principal
Kathryn (Kate) Bennett joined Chippewa in July of 2019, after having effectively served the Wayzata High School, first as a special education teacher, and then as Dean of Students. Ms. Bennett's responsibilities include the leading of building operations, which includes oversight of school safety and Chippewa's Crisis Management Plan, transportation, hallway and cafeteria supervision, student transitions, student scheduling, and management of student behavior, reports of student bullying, and discipline. In addition, Kate organizes and leads Chippewa's Summer STEAM Academy and contributes to the creation of Chippewa's master schedule.
