    8th GRADE SNOW DAZE DANCE

Our Eighth Grade Snow Daze Dance is Friday, February 2nd from 6:30 - 9:00 PM sponsored by the Highview Student Council.  The dance is for Highview eighth grade students only.

Tickets will be on sale from January 30th - February 2nd for $10.00 each or may be purchased from The Nest (our school store) using 15 Gotcha Tickets.  The ticket includes light snacks, dessert, and a commemorative photo.

Traditionally, students have worn semi-formal attire.  A skirt or dress for the girls and khaki or dress pants for boys.  We do expect attire that is appropriate and is not revealing.  It is not necessary for students to go with a "date."  In fact, we encourage all students to attend and are welcome to attend in groups.

We are also looking for store-bought dessert donations.  Please contact Stacey Olinger at Stacey.Olinger@moundsviewschools.org if you are interested in donating.

We are still in need of parent volunteers. We are looking for several parents to help set up, several parents to help chaperone the dance itself, and several parents to assist with cleanup.  If you are able to help, please contact Sam Carew at 651-621-6720 or sam.carew@moundsviewschools.org

    DONATIONS NEEDED

Highview’s Hawk’s Nest is looking for donations.  Students can receive “Gotcha Tickets” from staff for a multitude of great reasons… Being a good friend, being on time, doing their best, working hard in class, etc.  Students can “spend” these tickets in the school store called, The Hawk’s Nest.

We are asking for help stocking The Hawk’s Nest with these items that  students have requested – Dum Dum suckers, Orbit Gum (14 piece packs), Rice Krispy Treats (singles), chips (individual servings), popsockets, fidget cubes, fun-size candy (no peanuts please), Chex Mix (individual servings).

Donated items can be brought to the school office.  We thank you, in advance, for helping us to promote positive behavior in our students at Highview.  Hawk Pride!
