Approximately 30 seniors from Irondale and Mounds View High Schools will participate in a year-long, 20 hour per week paid internship through Genesys Works. Students will be placed in business or IT related internships at major corporations, including Land O'Lakes, Medtronic and Deluxe Corporations. Mounds View Schools has been partnering with Genesys Works for more than five years. 

Students from Irondale High School were busy this summer participating in the MN Trades Academy (MTA), a paid summer construction internship experience for Twin Cities area high school youth. The goal is to help youth prepare for adulthood through life-long learning, skill development, and access to good jobs with good benefits in the construction industry. Construction Careers Foundation, a Mounds View Schools partner, coordinates the program. 

Through the Pathways program, Irondale and Mounds View High School students are exploring more options as they plan for post-secondary success.
