Citizenship Classes

Be prepared for the USCIS interview to become a citizen! Study early U.S. history, the constitution and the government in this eight week course at NO COST to you. The focal point of the class is the 100 questions required for citizenship. USCIS documents will be provided and assistance in completing forms if needed.
The student must be able to meet the CASAS Intermediate reading level of 212 for admission to the Citizenship class.

- Online

In Citizenship 1, we will:
- Practice for the Reading test
- Practice for the Writing test
- Practice for the Civics test (100 questions)
- Look at the N-400 Application
Citizenship 2 (Part 1)
- In-person at Silver View Education Center
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- Class begins Sep.13 and runs through Oct. 26.

This is the first part of a two-part class. Part 2 begins on Nov. 8.
In Citizenship 2, we will:
- Learn vocabulary that will be on the U.S. Citizenship test.
- Learn about the United States: its history, its laws, its government and how it relates to you as a U.S. citizen.
- Practice for the reading, writing and speaking portions of the U.S. Citizenship test.
