Radon testing throughout Mounds View Public Schools: 

• All District schools and sites have been tested for radon and deemed safe. 
• In 2015, 876 units were used to test for radon in all Mounds View Public Schools sites as well as some leased spaces. Sites were tested and monitored from November 2015 to March 2016. 
• Long-term radon tracking took place over a period of 120 days. The reports came back clear with no need for mitigation.
• Testing was administered by the Institute for Environmental Testing (IEA). School specific testing details are available in a report from IEA.
