Highview students will be taking MCA tests in their Math, ELA and 8th grade Science classes in April.  The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) is designed to measure each student’s level of proficiency, as compared to state standards, in the subject areas of math, reading and science (grade 8 only).  Please try to make sure your student is to school on time and well-rested on testing dates.   Please try to avoid taking your student out of school for appointments on these dates.

First Day of High School! September 4, 2018

Highview’s Hawk’s Nest is looking for donations.  Students can receive “Gotcha Tickets” from staff for a multitude of great reasons… Being a good friend, being on time, doing their best, working hard in class, etc.  Students can “spend” these tickets in the school store called, The Hawk’s Nest.

We are asking for help stocking The Hawk’s Nest with these items that  students have requested – Dum Dum suckers, Orbit Gum (14 piece packs), Rice Krispy Treats (singles), chips (individual servings), popsockets, fidget cubes, fun-size candy (no peanuts please), Chex Mix (individual servings).

Donated items can be brought to the school office.  We thank you, in advance, for helping us to promote positive behavior in our students at Highview.  Hawk Pride!
