Special Education Parent & Professional Advisory Council
The Special Education Parent and Professional Advisory Council (SEPPAC) is a group of parents and staff whose purpose is to share information and advise the District on behalf of students receiving special education services. The Council welcomes members who represent all schools and programs in the Mounds View School District.
- When-Sep 27 from 6:45–8:15 p.m.
- Where-Mounds View Public Schools District Center at 4570 Victoria Street N, Shoreview
Bev Zelinski, director of student services at Mounds View Public Schools, will provide an overview of District special education services. After this short presentation, the SEPPAC co-chairs will lead a parent-to-parent discussion group. Discussion will include how parents can help each other navigate the system and advocate for their child. This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents who also have children receiving special education services within Mounds View Public Schools.

Other Volunteer Opportunities
On communication nights our teacher have very little time between the school day and parent meetings. The PTO provides meals for the teachers on these nights and we are looking for a few parents that have 30 minutes from 3:30-4 p.m. to help make this happen.
Volunteers would meet the food delivery person at school by 3:30 p.m., bring the meals and beverages to the Staff Lounge so everything is available for them to grab!
