FIRE TRUCKS RESCHEDULED OCTOBER 17TH
The students have been learning about Fire Safety this week and originally we had planned to have Fire Trucks from the Lake Johanna Fire Department on site October 10th for educational presentation. This has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 17th due to the weather.FUTURE MUSTANG T-SHIRTS & SPIRIT DAY OCTOBER 17thFuture Mustang T-shirts are being sent home with all students today! Please have your child wear their shirt on Wednesday, October 17 for our Future Mustang Spirit Day. For the remainder of the school year students are invited to wear their Future Mustang T-shirt every Friday (unless a different school spirit theme is planned).T-shirts are provided to all students, with the support of donations from our families. If you have not had a chance to make a donation and would like to you may still do so.
IMMUNIZATIONSIf you have not turned in your student's immunization records, please do so to the health office as soon as possible so they can update their records. They can be faxed to 651-621-8005 or emailed to marilee.mossberg-ardito@moundsviewschools.org.

APEX FUNDRAISER is COMING!!!! October 22 - November 2We're excited to tell you about our only major fundraiser this semester/year, the Apex Leadership Co. Event! Apex is a local company and will be on campus for two weeks teaching our students about leadership and fitness. During the Apex program, students will be challenged to get pledges for the units they will complete on the event day. With this fundraiser, we are able to enhance your child's kindergarten experience. Funds are used to supplement classroom resources, bring in PTA sponsored programs and speakers, provide grade level enrichment activities, and support an Angel Fund. Please look for more info about the program and ways to support our school as we get closer to the event.
SNAIL TEAM VOLUNTEERSCome join the Snail Team!!!!!!! The Snail Team is a group of volunteers who help out the Kindergarten center on a regularly scheduled day & time. The volunteers rotate through coming in on Wednesdays to assist completing teacher projects. The Snail Team completes projects such as: cutting lamination, hole punching, and hanging art, etc. If this is something you might be interested in please view the following Snail Team availability. Plan for 1 - 2 hours to complete projects each Wednesday. Sign up with a friend so you can chat!!!!!!! 2. Wednesday, Nov.14th or 28th from 9:30 to 11:30 - walk in registration - Please
Bring: picture id for yourself, current piece of mail (proof of residence), some form of
identification on your children (medical cards, school ids, birth certificates, or social security
cards). Important: Your children may only be registered for one holiday toy program and
must either live in the Mounds View Public School District or attend school here. Toy
registration ends Nov.30th . After this date, call the food shelf at 651-621-6280.

ROCK THE SCHOOL HOUSE
If you’ve been buried in new fall routines and are just starting to get back into the swing of things again, we have great news. We have extended our early bird ticket prices for Rock the School House for one more week - grab a few today!
General admission tickets are available at the early bird prices until Monday, October 15th, so get them before they’re gone. Your ticket purchase includes heavy appetizers and great entertainment. There will be a cash bar offering beer, wine and mixed drinks. Click here to purchase your tickets.
Saturday November 10th at the Vadnais Heights Commons promises to be a great night of fun and fundraising. Look for an announcement later this week regarding a special musical partnership that will make the evening all that more memorable.
