    Hamline University Freeze Fest

    Hamline University is hosting its Annual Freeze Fest, a one-day high school mock trial competition. This event is a meant to be a learning experience and provide a fun opportunity for teams to compete before winter break.

     Students should provide their own transportation to Hamline University.

    • Plan to arrive by 8 a.m.
    • Bring a lunch and/or snack.



    • 8 a.m.: coaches/judges meeting
    • 8:30 a.m.: Round 1
    • 11 a.m.: lunch break
    • 12:00 p.m.: Round 2
    • 2:45 p.m.: Round 3
    • 5:30 p.m. or ASAP: awards


    • Round 1: random pairings and side assignments
    • Round 2: pairings based on record and point differential/teams will switch sides of the case
    • Round 3: Championship Round  
      • Top four teams will compete, but the rest of the teams will have the option to compete in a third round if they decide to do so
      • Pairings will be done in the same fashion as Round 2
