We will begin the day with gym games and then board the bus to the Minnesota Children's Museum in Saint Paul which features 10 new permanent exhibits and great visitor amenities. The experiences cultivate essential skills, including critical thinking, communication, creative thinking and more. The museum creates an educational environment infused with excitement and hands-on interactions, making the museum one of the top destinations in Minnesota for student visits.
Snowtubing at Wild Mountain | Grades 4-8
Get your friends together and hit the tubing hill at Wild Mountain. Then, return to Mounds View High School for your favorite gym games until pick-up time. Students must bring their own winter coat, snow pants, hat and gloves/mittens. A completed release form is required to board the bus.

Please complete and return this form ONLY if you do NOT wish for Mounds View Public Schools to publish your student's appearance, image or name on any recorded medium. This Publish Opt Out Release is applicable and valid for up to 12 months from the date of signature.Riding the Bus and Food/DrinkWhile riding the bus, students are expected to keep all food and drink in their backpacks. In order to ensure the safety of students during arrival and dismissal, we will be closing the lower parking lot from 8:05 – 8:35 a.m. and 3:05 – 3:35 p.m. ALL students being transported by parents to and from school need to be dropped off/ picked up using the carpool lane in the back of the building. We appreciate your support in using the carpool lane to ensure the safety of all.
Building Security Procedures
A visitor screening system helps track visitors and volunteers at each school, providing a safe and monitored environment for students and staff. When parents come to pickup their child(ren), or visitors check in, they will be asked to present a valid state issued ID for entering into the system.
