As the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Mounds View High School, I am responsible for working across all levels and disorders to provide appropriate speech-language services in our school. These disorders may include those involving language, augmentative & alternative communication (AAC), articulation (speech sound disorders), fluency, voice/resonance, and swallowing. All communication disorders, which are treated in the school setting must have an impact on the student's educational needs and achievement.

I work with a wide range of professionals in an effort to identify students with communication disorders and to prevent them from academic failure. These professionals may include school administration, reading specialists, special education teachers, regular education teachers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school psychologists, audiologists, deans, medical doctors, and/or private speech and language agencies.
