Hello! My name is Amy Porisch.  I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher.  I have been a teacher in the Mounds View school district for 15 years.  I have a masters degree in Early Childhood Special Education from St Thomas and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Minnesota.  I was born in Minnesota and have lived here for my whole life.   At home I have a husband, Ryan, and 3 active boys Carter (10), Colin (8), and Casey (6), as well as a french bulldog named Louie.  In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, cooking, and working on DIY home projects with my husband.

I am so excited to spend some time getting to know your child during class this year.   One of my favorite parts about being a teacher is watching the students grow and change throughout the year.
