Chalkboard Capers

  • We have the great honor of bringing back the 36th Annual Chalkboard Capers Show this year! The shows will be presented on March 29-31 & April 1, 2023.

    Chalkboard Capers is an annual musical variety show written, produced, and performed by members of the Mounds View Education Association. Through this program, we are able to grant scholarships to graduating seniors from Irondale High School, Mounds View High School, REACH Academy, Area Learning Center, and Adult Basic Education. Each scholarship is $621. The number of scholarships awarded depends on the financial success of the show.

    Tickets

    All performances will be held at Irondale High School. 

    The 2023 performance schedule is as follows: 

      Wednesday, March 29th

      5:15 PM   Dress Rehearsal Show

      Thursday, March 30th

      6:30 PM

      Friday, March 31st

      6:30 PM

      Saturday, April 1st

      1:00 PM* and 6:30 PM

    *During our 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 1st show, a drawing will be held to give away prizes for attending elementary students.  Please note: NOT every student will receive a prize.
