     DECA RESULTS
    Congratulations to all of the state DECA Competitors representing Irondale with their incredible performances.  A special congratulations to those that qualified for the International level of DECA competition in Orlando, FL in April: Joe Doerrer, Ellie Goligowski, Sara Hachi, Grace Haglund, Darby Hanson, Jenna Jarmoluk, Missy Jarmoluk, Zoe Kaplan (1st Place), Laura Le, Sydney Mulvehill (1st Place), Sydney Oswald, Amer Phul, Charlie Schumer, and Jaclyn Wild! 

    ROBOTICS RESULTS
    Congratulations to KnightKrawler, FRC team 2052, for their first place finish at the Northern Lights Regional.  Their winning alliance included team 525 Swartdogs from Cedar Falls, Iowa and team 3630 Stampede from Breck High School.  This win qualifies the team to compete at the world championship in Detroit.  Our success is the result of countless hours put in by our 46 students, a dozen mentors, and many parents.  A special shoutout to our team captains: Emily Davis, Wyatt Johnson, Lorne Mildenberger, Ian Olds, and Kyle Warren.

    GIRLS BASKETBALL RESULTS
    The year end banquet was held on Sunday and all levels recognized their outstanding players.  Varsity announced the following awards: All Conference-Kahlan Jester; Honorable Mention All Conference-Dora Okpara; Academic All State-Kahlan Jester and Annalise Scamehorn; Most Improved-Isabelle Herlofsky; 6th Person Award-Kimori Morris; Defensive Player of the Year-Annalise Scamehorn; Coaches Award-Sarah Bickford; MVP-Kahlan Jester; and Academic Excellence Award-Annalise Scamehorn.  Thank you to the players, teachers, pep band, parents, and all who supported us this season.

    IRONDALE BANDS FUNDRAISER
    Are you hungry and don't want to cook??  Stop by Chipotle in St Anthony Village tomorrow night, Tuesday, March 12, between 5 and 9pm, before attending Communication Night and the Physics Fair OR on your way home, and help support the Irondale Bands!  Show them the flyer or mention Irondale Bands, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Bands.  

    IRONDALE MARCHING KNIGHTS
    Join the nationally recognized Irondale Marching Knights!  The marching band is open to all current 8th-11th grade students across the school district.  You need not be a current band student to find a role within the program.  Join us for Information & Registration Night in the Irondale cafeteria on Tuesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. (Day after returning to school from spring break!)  The season is starting up soon - first practice will be on Saturday, May 4.

    TALENT SHOW

    Irondale’s Annual Talent Show will be on Friday, March 29, at 7 PM.  Auditions will be held after-school TODAY and TOMORROW in Room 116. No sign up required.  If you have any questions about the talent show or auditions, contact Sara Hachi (2019hachs55@moundsviewschools.org).  See you there!
