“Senior Walk-Around” the bases today, stopping at 1B to discuss memories of their freshman year, at 2B their sophomore year, at 3B last year as juniors, and at home plate both memories of this season thus far and what they want to accomplish with the rest of this season. Then off to DQ to eat and talk about the glory days of youth baseball!

The Diamond Club’s 13th annual dinner and silent auction was a big success in raising funds in support of the Mounds View High School baseball program. Equally important, the event is an annual celebration of baseball in the community. Thanks to featured Speakers Ian Goldsmith, MVHS Class of 2009, and 25 Year Major League Pitcher Jim Kaat for the great messages they shared! Thanks to the Diamond Club for their commitment and countless hours of work to put on such a great event!

Another year of Summer Fun At The Sandlot! More than 100 kids enjoying unstructured baseball - whiffle ball is always on the agenda! Thanks to those that participated! And, thanks to the high school baseball players that helped make it an enjoyable experience for the younger kids! Unstructured play is good!
