Childcare Information

  • Consistent with the Governor’s guidance, Mounds View Public Schools will be providing childcare for parents who have children who work and serve in essential and/or critical fields (this list regularly updated by the Minnesota Department of Education). Verification of employment, such as a letter from the employer or an employment badge, is required. District staff who are required to report to work on Monday, March 23, are also eligible for this program. 

    Care will be provided for children grades K-5. This service will be free to families and available from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The childcare will take place at the following locations Wednesday, March 18 - Friday, April 3:

    Starting Monday, April 6, childcare will take place at the following locations:

    Note: Regular Mounds View Public Schools childcare programming, including Y Care, will be closed for students and families who do not meet the definition of an emergency worker in the link above.
