Healthy youth are better learners.

  • Please call the school attendance line each day your child is absent due to illness.

Keeping your child home from school

  • thermometer Staying home when you are sick is one of the best ways to fight COVID-19. Please monitor your child for signs of illness every morning before leaving for school, and keep them home if they show symptoms.

    • We ask that families answer these screening questions each time before they send students to school, child care, or another youth program.

Keeping sick children and children who are exposed to COVID-19 away from others helps to stop the spread of the virus to other children, staff, and the surrounding community.

Here are other important practices for all of us to follow to prevent the spread of COVID-19, help keep ourselves and each other healthy, and keep our schools open:

    • Hand washing Practice regular hand washing or use hand sanitizer often
    • Keep hands away from our eyes, nose, and mouth
    • Wear face coverings (masks) in school buildings and on buses (having an extra in your child's backpack is always a good idea!)
    • Stay 6 feet away from people from different households
