  • ART CLUB

    All students interested in ART can join the club- no previous experience is necessary!   Students will meet one day a week with full access to a variety of materials.  The club will start off working in clay then move into painting, printmaking, and more!  Imagery and concepts are student-driven and joyful mistakes are highly encouraged.   
    Room 174 (Ms. Skildum’s classroom)  Every Thursday from October 5 to December 16  from 2:30 – 3:40 PM. Activity buses are available. Regular attendance is expected in order to attend the field trip. Sign and return permission form with $10.  Scholarships are always available.

    CHESS CLUB

    Meets Tuesdays 6:50-7:30am in the Cafeteria

    CHORAL ENSEMBLE

    Choral Ensemble is an auditioned, extra-curricular singing group that meets every Tuesday after school until 3:40 pm throughout the  school year. Students will learn choreography to accompany their music for some songs. Singers will perform in Highview choir concerts throughout the year.

    GSA CLUB

    Thursdays from 2:30-3:40 pm
    GSA is a student-run club that brings together LGBTQIA+ people & allies to support each other, provide a safe place to socialize, and advocate for positive changes.

    MATH TEAM

    On the Math Team, we practice math problems together, developing and refining problem-solving techniques, and compete against other schools in Math Competitions!  We also fiddle with mathematical riddles and unsolved problems in mathematics. Meets Thursdays after school in Room 108 from 2:30-3:40 PM

    STRIPES/STARS

    The mission of the STRIPES/STARS program is to inspire youth to use education as a pathway to accomplishing their dream. Meetings are every other Thursday after school in Room 105/107 from  2:30 - 3:40 PM. 

    STUDENT COUNCIL

    Tuesdays from 2:30 - 3:40
    Student Council is a student leadership group that works to plan school wide events and raise school spirit. It is a unique, cohesive group of students who care about others and genuinely want to have an important leadership role in their school.
