    GOLF RESULTS
    JV was defeated by St. Anthony 210-203 at Brightwood Hills yesterday.  The Medalist was Jackie Peterson(48).  Good finish to a fun season!

    SOFTBALL RESULTS
    A walk-off left Irondale Knights Varsity on the wrong end of a 3-2 defeat to Champlin Park yesterday.  The game was tied at two, with Champlin Park batting in the bottom of the seventh.  A double scored one run to take the lead.  Mack Wolterstorff was in the circle and lasted six and a third innings, allowing 11 hits and three runs while striking out six and walking zero.  Annalise Scamehorn, Wolterstorff, Madi Urfer, and Maggie Jechorek each collected one hit.  The Knights will continue their section tournament on Friday against the winner of the Park Center and Rogers game that takes place today.

    ULTIMATE FRISBEE RESULTS
    The Irondale girls lost a close game to St. Paul Central on Tuesday by a score of 9 to 7.  Scoring for the Knights were: Sarah Heuss, Zella Fruzyna, Jillian Brannon, Sam Eyberg, Susan Schuh, Katie Sjobeck, and Jessica Nugent.  The team is looking forward to the state tournament on June 1 and 2 in Blaine.  Also, congratulations to Jillian Brannon and Zella Fruzyna for making the All-Conference team

    SENIOR PARKING PERMITS
    Attention SENIORS with parking permits.  Permits are due in the front office, Tuesday, May 28, by 2:15pm.  They must be turned in in order to receive your cap and gown on Thursday.

    YEARBOOKS
    YEARBOOKS for SENIORS will be available for sale for $85 cash or check before school in room 117 and after school in the concession stand beginning tomorrow, Thursday, May 23. Yearbooks for seniors that did not pick theirs up yet will be available at those same places and times. 
     
    YEARBOOKS FOR UNDERCLASSMEN will be distributed during 6th hour tomorrow, Thursday, May 23.  If this does not work for your student, they will also be distributed in the concession stand after school until 3:30, and before school (starting on Tuesday, May 28) in room 117.  There are a limited number of books for sale for $85 cash or check.

    SPANISH/PORTUGUESE POSTER CONTEST RESULTS
    Congratulations to Amaya Camacho (grade 11) for winning 1st place in the state of Minnesota in the 2019 American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP - MN) Poster Contest.  Her entry has been forwarded on to the National AATSP Poster Contest. 

    AKP BINGO AND GAME VOLUNTEERS

    Please come out and support the Knightline Dance Team at our car wash fundraiser, Saturday, June 15, 10-2pm.  The Garage of New Brighton, 2350 Palmer Drive, New Brighton.  Car wash $8.

    METRO TRANSIT PASSES
    Metro Transit will again be offering the Summer Student Pass to area high school students!  The price is the same as last year - for $29.00, students who are enrolled in 9-12th grade for the 2018-2019 school year can purchase a Summer Student Pass.  This also includes seniors who will be graduating this year (class of 2019).  These students will get unlimited rides on city buses and light rail trains from June 1st – September 3rd from 5am – 10pm.  Click on the link below to access your discounted Summer Student Pass.

    GIRLS SWIM & DIVE TEAM
    Calling all girls swim and dive team recruits!  The girls swim and dive team is planning its Fall 2019 season kickoff with a BBQ to meet the coaches, swimmers, and learn about the team.  If you’re interested in swimming or diving, we’d love to meet you and tell you about our great team of 30 swimmers who delivered 7 wins out of 12 meets last season and continue to set records.  The high school swim team is open to students grade 7-12 at all swim levels.  Join us Monday, June 10, at 6pm at Long Lake Regional Park at the small beach pavilion.  BBQ dinner provided.  Students and their families welcome.  Check out our swim team site to learn more and RSVP.
