    SWIM RESULTS
Irondale swam its first dual meet against Woodbury last night to end with a close win of 52 to 50!  Throughout the meet, the two teams kept within points of each other.  The 200Y IM race was speedy with 1st (M. Rhodes) and 2nd (A. O'Rourke) place finishes.  The 50Y Free was amazing with two 1st (M. Koke, S. McCollor) place finishes from a tie!  Irondale divers competed Wednesday evening with JV 2nd (A. Rosivach) and Varsity 3rd (L. Semakula) place results.  The team record is now 3-0.  Great job swimmers and divers!

    SOCCER RESULTS
The Girls Soccer Varsity team defeated Woodbury last night at home with a score of 1-0.   Scoring for the Knights was Emma Nitzschke assisted by Fiona Ostlund.  Paige Fahrmann had the shutout.

    IRONDALE BLOCK PARTY
Join us TONIGHT from 4-6:00pm for Irondale’s 2nd Annual Block Party.  There will be music, games, prizes, food, and lots of fun. This is a chance for families to meet their student’s teachers, as this event will replace Back-to-School Night that is generally held a few weeks after the start of the school year.  Bring the entire family and stay for the football game at 7pm.

RIDE FOR $1 WITH THE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TAP)
The Transit Assistance Program (TAP) makes public transit more affordable for lower income residents.  Customers can take a bus or train for just $1 per ride – even during rush hour – with a 2½ hour transfer.  TAP riders register their reduced fare pass on a Go-To card, with benefits like paperless transfers and balance protection.  Riders have access to the $1 fare for a full year after the first use.

Signing up is easy!  Apply online or in person at a service center.  Be sure to bring your ID and a document that shows that you are eligible, like an EBT card or Free/Reduced Lunch letter.  A full list of all 24 accepted documents is available here, along with more details about TAP.  For questions about eligibility or finding a service center near you, call Customer Service at 612-373-3333.
