Irondale swam its first dual meet against Woodbury last night to end with a close win of 52 to 50! Throughout the meet, the two teams kept within points of each other. The 200Y IM race was speedy with 1st (M. Rhodes) and 2nd (A. O'Rourke) place finishes. The 50Y Free was amazing with two 1st (M. Koke, S. McCollor) place finishes from a tie! Irondale divers competed Wednesday evening with JV 2nd (A. Rosivach) and Varsity 3rd (L. Semakula) place results. The team record is now 3-0. Great job swimmers and divers!SOCCER RESULTSThe Girls Soccer Varsity team defeated Woodbury last night at home with a score of 1-0. Scoring for the Knights was Emma Nitzschke assisted by Fiona Ostlund. Paige Fahrmann had the shutout.
IRONDALE BLOCK PARTY
Join us TONIGHT from 4-6:00pm for Irondale’s 2nd Annual Block Party. There will be music, games, prizes, food, and lots of fun. This is a chance for families to meet their student’s teachers, as this event will replace Back-to-School Night that is generally held a few weeks after the start of the school year. Bring the entire family and stay for the football game at 7pm.
RIDE FOR $1 WITH THE TRANSIT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TAP)
The Transit Assistance Program (TAP) makes public transit more affordable for lower income residents. Customers can take a bus or train for just $1 per ride – even during rush hour – with a 2½ hour transfer. TAP riders register their reduced fare pass on a Go-To card, with benefits like paperless transfers and balance protection. Riders have access to the $1 fare for a full year after the first use.
Signing up is easy! Apply online or in person at a service center. Be sure to bring your ID and a document that shows that you are eligible, like an EBT card or Free/Reduced Lunch letter. CURRICULUM ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Mounds View Public Schools Curriculum Advisory Committee is seeking representatives to serve on the committee for the 2019-20 school year. Committee members work in partnership with the district and community to gain knowledge and provide feedback about about curriculum and other instructional issues.

WE ARE ONE
Mounds View Public Schools Football Camp starts Monday, September 16, at Mounds View High School top football practice field, for students in grades 6-12 who receive Special Education Services.
Come and join the players and coaches from the Mounds View High School Mustangs football team and the Mounds View, Irondale, Roseville RAMS to experience football skills and drills. Campers will meet a Mounds View football player buddy in the End Zone of the Top Football Practice Field at 6:00 PM. Support staff available as needed.
Camp will run from 6:00-7:15 PM. Team Picture at 7:10 PM. Free t-shirt for all Registered Campers. There is NO CHARGE for this event!
Notes: Parents, you are welcome to watch from the stands or the field. A signed waiver is required to participate. Registration is limited, please register early. 2019-20 COLLEGE VISITS
Colleges, universities, community colleges, and military branches from all over the United States have already scheduled visits for any interested juniors and seniors. These visits take place in the IMC and last between 20-30 minutes. The full schedule can be found on Naviance and on the bulletin boards inside and outside Student Services.
