5th Grade Year End Celebrations
5th Grade Celebration
Plans are underway for the 5th grade party on Tue, June 6 from 12-3 p.m.(students & volunteers only). The committee is putting together a slideshow for the students to view during the party and we need your pictures! Please upload images to the PTO's 5th grade google album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/NKEZBTXRBdUsHF1W6 by May 31, so we can have it ready for the party. We are looking for photos spanning from your child's 1st grade year through now that show them having fun at Valentine Hills individually or with their classmates.
Without your help, this PTO-funded event can not happen. This link will take you to the sign-up genius. Please consider signing up for a slot at the party - you can stay for some or all of it and we appreciate any help you can provide. After a pizza lunch (please advise your child’s teacher if we need a dairy free or gluten free option for your child), kids will get the chance to tie-dye their own bandana, play on inflatables and perhaps cool off in a bucket and sponge relay race. The more volunteers we get, the more activities we can run!
If you have any questions about the party, please contact Amanda Speake at amanda@speake.org.
5th Grade Clapout
On Thu, June 8 (last day of school), we will have the 5th Grade Clapout. It will start inside at 3:50 p.m. with a parade of 5th graders walking through the building while the other students cheer them on! It will end with students walking outside and connecting with parents Parents are invited to participate outside. Please be sure that you have connected with your 5th Grader's teacher so the know if your child should be parent pick up on this day instead of the bus or YCare.
