Community Support

Dear Irondale activities community,

By now, I’m sure you have heard that all student athletics and activities are on pause until at least December 19. We share your disappointment in not being able to host all typical activities, and we hope our winter season can resume as soon as it is safely possible. We know that athletics and activities have provided much-needed joy and relief for our students and their families during these uncertain times. We also know that, through our fundraising programs, youth activities and athletics make a resounding difference in the lives of the small business owners and their employees who are being directly impacted by the recent restaurant restrictions put in place.

As we take this time to pause, and hopefully get a handle on this virus in our community, we encourage you to support the local businesses and restaurants that have supported our activities programs for years. If your family’s budget allows, consider ordering takeout for dinner or shopping at the businesses below. Since they have supported our programs for decades, it is now time that we return the favor in our community. Once we are able to gather at activity events and or restaurants to celebrate a good game, we’ll want these small businesses to still be present and thriving in our community.

Here is a list of small businesses and organizations that have supported our programs over the years. This is by no means an exhaustive list -- we encourage you to support the businesses that have supported your child’s journey in an Irondale activity or sport as often as you can.
