Ross Fleming was named to the Hall of Fame Class of 2021 by The Minnesota Track & Field Coaches Association. Fleming constructed the Mounds View boys program around the True Team concept and directed the Mustangs to eight state titles and nine other top three finishes. His squads have amassed 22 Section True Team titles. A perennial power, Fleming's teams won five MSHSL state titles and added 12 other top 10 finishes, including five podium performances. Altogether, his program produced 22 individual state champions and nine relay state champions. In addition, his teams earned Academic All-State honors for performance in the classroom for at least 70% of all seasons. Congratulations, Ross!
